With six or eight decks of cards, Spanish 21 or Spanish Blackjack is played. The 10 value cards are all eliminated from the 52 cards, leaving only 48 to start the game with. This raises the house advantage.
If the hand is a Blackjack or 21, the Dealer can peek at his hole card and win the hand. A tie can occur if the player also has a Blackjack. Insurance and late surrender are both acceptable options. Surrendering after doubling down is also permitted to provide the player a better chance of winning.
